Add your first item.
Sign in to Amp & Axe, open My Gear and choose Add Gear. Select a category, enter the manufacturer and model, and add the details you have. Save the item to start your private record.
Add photos, documents and history.
Open your gear record to add photos or PDF documents. In Stories, add a timeline entry for an acquisition, repair, modification, session or other moment. Check an entry’s sharing setting before including it in a shared item.
Explore the Gear Book.
Open the Gear Book tab to browse equipment other musicians have posted publicly. Save items you want to revisit and read the stories their owners have chosen to share.
Create a collection.
Open Collections, create a collection and give it a name. Open it and choose Add gear to bring together your owned gear and saved Gear Book finds. The collection remains private.
Share an item deliberately.
Open an individual gear record and its sharing options. Choose an unlisted link or post the item to the Gear Book. Serial numbers, values, locations, private notes and documents are not included on shared pages.
